Springtime!

We are so happy to have made it through the ‘long dark’ of the PNW & into longer days & warmer weather! Spring can still have a lot of rain & even cold weather (this am was frosty), but just the longer days alone have us feeling energized. We recently welcomed two mini Nubian goats (they will get about 70 lbs). They are SO sweet & adorable. We now have 3 laying ducks & a good flock of chickens. Wyatt has started selling eggs at the farm gate! He is doing a good job collecting ever day or two & putting containers in the farm box. In other news, Freyja was adopted last month by a farm in Redmond. We were sad to lose her but we are confident that her new home is perfect. We have an old ranch gelding named Clifford now in Freyja’s stall & paddock! He will be living here & part of our lesson program until the end of June! We are looking forward to giving our students the opportunity to ride on a big ‘ol black beauty ;)
